Lock Down / by Nick Barberton

Yes it has happened to all of us. I am lucky in that I commute 5 metres to work. I have a garden and have not run out of money yet. I made a stool from some of the remaining Brown oak. Then I varnished the woodwork on the boat because the sun was shining. I turned a large platter from an interesting piece of Ash I dragged out an old piece of burr oak that has been around for possibly ten years and turned and carved a platter with facets on it. There was a piece of burr oak left over. From this I turned a bowl. I suspect that our open studios will be cancelled. I am busy on more work and am open for business online. Just ask!

I have spent a week varnishing the woodwork on the boat. Not allowed to go sailing yet!
